We are located in the town of Grand Junction in Western Colorado and we have everything from small to medium drops for crafting, to large singles, sets, and racks for personal collections, or personal and commercial crafters. I will buy any and all antlers and racks in Colorado and will pick up if necessary. Price is always negotiable for large sets and racks.

How antlers are Graded

A grade A brown antler is an antler that is in perfect condition. Only very minor chips, no broken tines or chew marks and has natural brown color with no fading from side to side.
(Usually an antler picked up with in a few months of the animal dropping it.)

 

A grade B brown antler may have a broken tine, chips and chew marks, but still has natural brown color with no fading from side to side.

A grade A white antler is an antler has been faded and weathered to white but is still in perfect condition. Only very minor chips and chew marks, no broken tines, may have hair line cracks but is still smooth to the touch.
(An antler may be in this condition after only 3 or 4 months in the field out to 2 years.)

 

A grade B white antler has been faded and weathered to white, may have broken tines, chips and chew marks, but is still smooth to the touch.

A C grade or chalk antler is any antler that has deep cracks, shows heavier weathering, and is rough like sand paper to the touch. Once antlers in this condition have started to crumble they have lost almost all value.
(Typically an antler gets to this condition after sitting out in the field for 3 or more years.)
